Zachary P. Nicholas, MD, joined TRI in 2019.

Dr. Nicholas completed his undergraduate work at the University of Utah in Bioengineering with an emphasis in medical device design and projects that lead to national clinical trials. He completed his medical school training at the University of Utah at the top of his class with national honors, scholarships and research awards. His residency training was at the University of Oklahoma with specialty training in proton therapy, stereotactic radiosurgery and a strong emphasis in gynecologic malignancies with brachytherapy. Dr. Nicholas has published numerous articles and has been invited to several national conferences to present his findings. He is board certified and an active member of multiple national medical associations including the American Society for Radiation Oncology.

Dr. Nicholas now lives in the Liberty area and in his spare time enjoys increasing awareness about cancer screening, working in public schools to discuss HPV vaccinations and avoiding tobacco to prevent cancer. He also enjoys outdoor recreation and spending time with his wife and children.
