Bhaswanth Dhanireddy, MD, joined TRI in 2019.

Dr. Dhanireddy obtained his medical degree at Kurnool Medical College, Kurnool, India. He went on to complete post-graduate studies in the field of Radiotherapy and Oncology at the Post graduate Institute of Medical Education and Research (PGIMER, one of the top medical institutes in India), Chandigarh, India. Dr. Dhanireddy furthered his training by completing residency in Radiation Oncology at the University of Kentucky. In his final year of residency, he had the honor of being Chief Resident.
 
Dr. Dhanireddy has published scientific articles in many national/international peer-reviewed journals and served as a reviewer of scientific articles for reputed medical journals. His research work was presented at several national/international meetings and won awards (Young Oncology Research Essay Award at American Radium Society meeting in 2018, RSNA Resident/Fellow Research award, 2018, European Society of Medical Oncology clinical visit fellowship award in 2017).
 
Specialized training: Image guided brachytherapy in Gynecological malignancies, LINAC & GK based Radiosurgery, Yttrium-90 Radioembolization, Cs-131 seed brachytherapy for reirradiation of recurrent gynecological malignancies and Particle therapy training at National Center for Oncological Hadron therapy, CNAO, Pavia, Italy.
 
Outside of work, Dr. Dhanireddy enjoys swimming, table tennis, travelling, and reading history literature.

Bertram W. Maidment, III, MD, joined TRI in 2017.

Dr. Maidment grew up in Overland Park, Kansas and graduated from Blue Valley Northwest High School. He attended Duke University and graduated with dual degrees in Biology with Distinction and German Studies. After college he performed anti-Ebola virus therapeutic research at the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) Center for Biologics Evaluation and Research in Bethesda, MD.

He attended medical school at the University of Maryland School of Medicine in Baltimore, MD during which time he was awarded a Simon Kramer Society Externship in Radiation Oncology and inducted as a member of the Gold Humanism Honor Society. Dr. Maidment received his residency training at the University of Virginia in Charlottesville, VA. He had the honor of serving as Chief Resident and received awards for clinical excellence and academic and scholarly accomplishments.
 
Dr. Maidment now resides in Overland Park with his wife and three children.

David T. Shaeffer, M.D., joined TRI in 2005.

Dr. Shaeffer completed his undergraduate education at the University of Kansas and earned a Masters in International Management, with honors, from the American Graduate School of International Management. He pursued a career in international business, living and working in Germany, prior to entering medical school at the University of Kansas. He earned his medical degree in 2000 and completed an internship at the University of Kansas. Dr. Shaeffer completed residency training in radiation oncology in 2005 at Indiana University where he served as Chief Resident during his final year of training.

Dr. Shaeffer joined TRI in 2005 and is the co-medical director at Research Medical Center and Midwest Urology & Radiation Oncology. He is a member of numerous local, state and national professional organizations including the American Society of Therapeutic Radiology and Oncology, the American College of Radiology, and the American Medical Association.

Kelly L. Rhodes-Stark, MD, joined TRI in 1996.

Dr. Rhodes-Stark received her Bachelor of Arts degree, with honors, from the University of Louisville in 1985. She continued her education at the University of Louisville School of Medicine, obtained her medical degree in 1989 and completed her internship and residency in internal medicine. She moved to the Kansas City area in 1993 where she completed her residency in radiation oncology at the University of Kansas Medical Center. She is board certified in Radiation Oncology as well as previously board certified in Internal Medicine.

Dr. Rhodes-Stark is currently on staff at the Radiation Oncology Center of Olathe and the Olathe Medical Center. She is a member of numerous local, state and national professional organizations including the American Medical Association and Greater Kansas City Metropolitan Medical Society.

Bradley H. Koffman, M.D., joined TRI in 2001.

Dr. Koffman grew up in Overland Park and graduated from Blue Valley North High School. He received his bachelor of science in biology at the University of California at San Diego, where he graduated with honors. He returned to Kansas City and earned his medical degree from the University of Kansas School of Medicine in 1996. He went on to internship in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania before completing his radiation oncology residency at the University of Maryland Medical Center in Baltimore.

Dr. Koffman began practice at Menorah Medical Center in 2001. He is board certified to utilize radiation therapy for all types of malignant and benign diseases but has special interests in breast cancer and stereotactic radiation. He has been on Menorah's executive committee, has chaired the cancer committee, and has served as president of TRI, PA. Dr. Koffman has been selected as one of Kansas City's top physicians every year since 2012.

Dr. Koffman resides in Overland Park and spends as much time as possible with his wife and their two children.  He sits on the board of multiple local philanthropic organizations and frequently provides community service with his family. Dr. Koffman also enjoys attending concerts, is an avid traveler, and is a faithful fanatic of the Royals, Chiefs, and Jayhawks.
