Therapeutic Radiologists, Inc. is a radiation oncology group dedicated to providing diverse radiation therapy and related services throughout the Kansas City metropolitan area. Our world-class physicians are located in Research Medical Center, Menorah Medical Center, North Kansas City Hospital and the St. Luke's Cancer Institute. We also have two freestanding radiation oncology centers – Radiation Oncology Center of Olathe, located on the campus of Olathe Medical Center and the Liberty Radiation Oncology Center, located on the campus of Liberty Hospital. Our freestanding centers are equipped with state-of-the-art technologies allowing us to provide our patients with the latest therapies. Our group also consults and treats patients in many other hospitals and medical centers throughout Kansas City and the surrounding communities.

Our physicians specialize in the entire spectrum of hospital based and freestanding services, including Stereotactic Radiosurgery (CyberKnife, Novalis, and linac based), Image Guided Radiotherapy, brachytherapy, and High Dose Radiotherapy. Since 1977, TRI has earned the respect and trust from the area’s leading oncologists, hospitals and patients we serve.

Our Comprehensive Services

The 13 board certified physicians of Therapeutic Radiologists Inc. have training and experience in most of the current radiation therapy modalities available for the treatment of cancer. Each TRI physician has advanced training and clinical research experience.

Since our group was founded in 1977, our physicians have treated over 45,000 citizens of Kansas City, Kansas and Missouri. Because TRI physicians have become leaders in national and international cancer research, have advanced training in multiple sub-specialty areas, and have access to advanced cancer treatment technology through local hospitals and medical facilities, we are able to focus our efforts on treating all forms of cancer right here in Kansas City.

TRI physicians embrace the concept of multidisciplinary care, and participate in coordinated care teams that are ‘patient-centric’. When you need our help, we will join with all of your involved physicians, including medical oncologists, surgeons, primary care providers and other specialists, to develop your most favorable treatment plan.

Our physicians are located in nearly all the hospitals and cancer centers in the Kansas City metro area which means our patients can usually choose where they receive their treatments. Patients who require more specialized care may be referred to a local TRI physician partner who has more advanced training in that area of treatment or who has access to the technology not available at the original facility. It is rare that our patients have to go outside of the Kansas City metro area to receive specialized treatment.
