Therapeutic Radiologists, Inc. is a radiation oncology group dedicated to providing diverse radiation therapy and related services throughout the Kansas City metropolitan area. Our world-class physicians are located in Research Medical Center, Menorah Medical Center, North Kansas City Hospital and the St. Luke's Cancer Institute. We also have two freestanding radiation oncology centers – Radiation Oncology Center of Olathe, located on the campus of Olathe Medical Center and the Liberty Radiation Oncology Center, located on the campus of Liberty Hospital. Our freestanding centers are equipped with state-of-the-art technologies allowing us to provide our patients with the latest therapies. Our group also consults and treats patients in many other hospitals and medical centers throughout Kansas City and the surrounding communities.
Our physicians specialize in the entire spectrum of hospital based and freestanding services, including Stereotactic Radiosurgery (CyberKnife, Novalis, and linac based), Image Guided Radiotherapy, brachytherapy, and High Dose Radiotherapy. Financial Policy
The physicians of Therapeutic Radiologists, Inc are committed to providing you with the best possible care, and are pleased to have our knowledgeable staff discuss our professional fees with you at any time. Your clear understanding of our financial policy is important to our doctor-patient relationship. Please ask if you have any questions about our fees, financial policy, or your responsibility.
All patients must complete our “Patient Information” form before seeing the doctor.
Co-Payments and deductibles are due at the time-of-service. Staff will assist you in determining what these responsibilities are. If you are unable to pay the amount due at the time of service, you will be asked to make arrangements for payment by staff representatives.
Payment plans and
credit terms must be confirmed with Insurance Staff prior to the initiation
of treatment.
Cosmetic procedures must be paid 100% prior to the services being performed.
We
accept cash, checks and credit cards.
Regarding Insurance
If you have insurance, our staff will assist you to make sure you are getting the maximum benefits due to you outlined in your coverage for services performed.
If your insurance plan is one with which we participate, we are contractually obligated to collect payment of any co-payment, coinsurance and deductibles that are due at the time of service under the terms of the agreement.
Insurance is a contract between you and your insurance company. We file insurance as a courtesy to our patients. Although we will assist in any way we can, it will ultimately be your responsibility to resolve any disputes between you and your insurance company regarding deductibles, co-payments, covered charges, secondary insurance or other matters regarding reimbursement.
You are responsible for the timely payment of your account.
