Scott C. Cozad, M.D., joined Therapeutic Radiologists, Inc. in 1992.

Dr. Cozad completed his undergraduate work at William Jewell College in Liberty, Missouri. He pursued a career in dentistry and completed his DDS at the University of Missouri Dental School in 1982. In 1988, Dr. Cozad continued his education by receiving his medical degree at the University of Kansas School of Medicine. He completed his internship in internal medicine at St. Luke’s Hospital in Kansas City, Missouri. Dr. Cozad returned to the University of Kansas Medical Center to complete his residency in radiation oncology.

Dr. Cozad is currently at Liberty Radiation Oncology Center. He is a member of numerous hospital committees and attends regular tumor conferences at three local hospitals.

Dr. Cozad is heavily involved with research and has been published in several national journals. He is a member of many local, state and national professional organizations including the American Medical Association, American Society of Therapeutic Radiologists and Oncologists, and the American College of Radiology. He was selected as one of Kansas City's best physicians in 2002.
