Jorge C. Paradelo, MD, FACR, Emeritus joined TRI in 1981.

Dr. Paradelo retired as a shareholder of the group in the summer of 2005 but continues to assist other TRI physicians with vacation coverage and extended time off. Dr. Paradelo grew up in Argentina where he received his bachelor's degree and medical degree. In 1974 he came to the United States where he completed his internship at Lemmuel Shattuck & Fulkner Hospital in Boston. Dr. Paradelo continued his training at Tufts - New England Medical Center in Boston where he completed his residency in radiation oncology.

Dr. Paradelo was a founding physician of the Midwest Gamma Knife program at Research Medical Center. This device focuses radiation treatments on brain tumors and vascular malformations without making an incision into the scalp.

Dr. Paradelo has been heavily involved in research, is widely published, and has presented on numerous occassions at national events. He currently holds the status of Clinical Assistant Professor at the University of Kansas Medical Center and the University of Missouri - Kansas City. He is a member of many local, state and national professional organizations, including the American Medical Association, American Society of Therapeutic Radiologists and Oncologists, and the Kansas City Southwest Clinical Society.
